The following terms and conditions apply when using the services of Dulwich Window Cleaners and Stockwell Window Cleaners:

You are required to pay within 7 days of the cleaning date. Cash is accepted on the day of the clean. We reserve the right to remove you from the round and replace you with another paying customer if payment is repeatedly not available.

Our pure water systems work in all weathers, therefore weather conditions are not an acceptable reason for cancelling our services. However we are a flexible team and are happy to reschedule when convenient.

Should we be unable to access any part of your property due to locked gates we will only clean the accessible areas. If we deem it safe to do so our operators will from time to time gain access to your property by unlocking your access gate prior arrangement with you after given authorisation.

We will endeavour to clean all windows, but if we deem any windows to be inaccessible or unsafe to clean, we will not clean them.

Due to insurance liabilities we will be unable to move obstacles such as but not exclusive to: flowerpots, garden furniture etc.

Due to such factors as traffic, weather, customer demands and more, is not always possible to be on exact time to the appointment, however we will give an hour slot and if not able to get there on time we will do our best to let you know our ETA.

Our window cleaners do not accept liability for damage caused by decorative or structural defects at your property such as but not limited to: ill fitting windows, doors, rotting frames, flaking paint etc. We reserve the right to refuse certain work/jobs.

When we are cleaning your windows we will use a soft brush made of soft plastic, therefore we will not be responsible for returning your windows back to “as new” condition if the cleaning reveals some scratches from the past. Nothing on the brush can cause scratches on your windows. If you feel that we have scratched your glass we will bring over the same brush used and ask if you can scratch the glass again. If you succeed we will pay to replace the glass.

Please note: Achieving optimum cleaning results may require a few cleans. For example, detergent residues from previous traditional window cleaning methods may cause slight spotting or smearing. We endeavour to clean your windows from excess dirt and dust, however that does not include removing glue, paint or any other substance that may be stuck in the windows. Keeping this into consideration, our quotes are for a professional window cleaning service using pure water, therefore we are more suitable to houses/commercial that traditional window cleaning cannot reach. Those quotes are not for a more meticulous job including services such as: removing glue, excessive dirt due to lack of cleaning, limescale marks, stickers, cement, or any other type of cleaning. If that is required please specify what you would like us to do and we will be able to give an appropriate quote for the job required. We will not use a metal scraper to remove any particles from the windows to avoid any liability. If you require scraping of your windows please let us know and we will be able to assess the situation; we would always use the scraper on a wet window to avoid scratching, however we will not be responsible for any damage caused to the window if scraping is required by our customer. Cleaning the inside of roof skylights or roof conservatories are not a service we can provide.

If you wish to cancel our services please provide at least 12h via sms or email. Failure to do so will result in a 100% charge for any work scheduled within this period.

We usually ask our customers if they are happy before we leave to our next job. If no objection is made, we will then leave and close the card for that job, however we give a 3h guarantee against any work carried out. If you spot any mistake from our side we are happy to come back and re-clean the specified windows for free if it’s within 3h from the cleaning time. We are unable to offer longer guarantee as many conditions such as traffic, rain, wind, birds or many other can cause an effect on your windows; this guarantee should not be necessary if you check the windows before we leave and let us know any issues.
